Ilford Green Pop Up market on 2nd Saturdays introduces upcycling crafts for children

Ilford green pop up market logo low resLooking for a place to browse some upcycled furniture, recycled bikes, plants seeds, children’s books by local author, hand-made candles, quirky vintage clothes and jewellery, afro-crafts, and delicious food and mingle with the local community? Do your children want to join in some upcycling crafts? Come along on Saturday! Begona Belmonte, Sophia Hubs volunteer

  • Saturday 8 October 10-2pm
  • just of Ilford High Road, Salvation Army, 15 Clements Road, IG1 1BH

The pop up market is an opportunity for micro, green and craft businesses to sell their wares and is supporting the monthly recycled bike market that has been looking for new customers.    Since we piloted the green pop up market in February bikes sales have gone up and also the number of customers bringing their bikes to the Salvation Army social enterprise for servicing. it is a helpful starting point for start-ups to take a free stall and test the market.  Ros Southern
