Help with your accounts at Sophia Hubs entrepreneur’s club on Tuesday 19th April 12.45
Amanda is an award winning Redbridge start-up business in accounts. Her business is called Amazingly Simple Accounting Services because Amanda knows that accounts can be simple.
I don’t want start-ups to be scared of HMRC and bury their heads in the sand! I want to show how simple it is to keep basic accounts as you go along and I have plenty of tips to share. 🙂 I want to encourage start-ups and SMEs to start preparing for self assessments now – so that 31st January 2017 will not be massive headache.
Who can come to Sophia Hubs entrepreneur’s club accounts session?
- people who are thinking of starting a business (you can claim expenses before you register for instance)
- new start-ups
- start-ups that are trading and would like some support with acccounts
- Any SME’s, voluntary groups, charities, that want a refresher
The entrepreneur’s club runs weekly in varied venues and at varied times. We ask attenders to join the Timebank and ‘pay’ in hours – to find out more contact us or just turn up and find out! We will be paying Amanda in Timebank hours. 🙂
What’s the programme?
Bring your laptop and work on your own excel (or similar) sheet (we have a few spare laptops but you will need to contact us to book it). Check with Amanda that you are doing things correctly and not missing any tricks.
Amanda is going to upload a formatted excel sheet to her website that will be an open source document to help start-up businesses , and you can use this at the workshop.
There will be plenty of opportunity for networking and support with other start-ups.
Details of venue
- St Johns church lounge, St John’s Road, Seven Kings, IG2 7BB (no parking restrictions after midday)
