Chamber Christmas do attended by Redbridge Mayor – pics! ….

Chamber xmas dinner group standingThe Chamber had a well attended and delicious Christmas dinner at the Redbridge College Rouge Restaurant this week!  The Chamber was very pleased to be joined by Redbridge Mayor Barbara White and husband and consort Frank White.

56 guests came and were entertained by an excellent piano performance throughout the evening and a beautiful acapella solo performance by college students.

The Mayor was very impressed with the raffle that used service offers of Chamber executive members, which was an idea put forward to the Chamber executive by me inspired by our Timebank skills swap events! The Mayor is going to work with the Timebank to use the idea to raise money for her 7 charities.  Chamber xmas dinner 2016 tableCllr Helen Coombes won the carpet clean :), Friends of King George Hospital have won the free venue for an event (Ilford Sports club) 🙂 and Keith Gold has won my Facebook tuition session. 🙂   There were many other prizes too.

The Redbridge Chamber of Commerce Christmas dinner was a huge success.  There was a raffle with some spectacular prizes, including a free venue for a party and a professional family portrait photograph. The evening was hosted by Redbridge College who provided musical entertainment by very talented college members. A great evening which the chamber will repeat next year.  Geoff Hill, Chamber Chair
