Had a great meeting with Tom Bircham from Enterprise for London yesterday 🙂 Enterprise For London have a Redbridge contract for 2 years to support very early stage start-ups with 100 hours mentoring over 3 years. This organisation is a not for profit. It also offers business loans to start-ups that have been refused loans by banks. And… it and also has expertise in setting up serviced offices spaces and is looking for venues in Redbridge. That’s exciting! Half the organisation’s revenue comes from providing good office space to rent and thrown in is a lot of ongoing business support.
If you want to link up with Enterprise for London to see if you are the perfect candidate, ring 0207 1010696 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Alternatively you could turn up on a Wednesday at Enterprise Desk (Ilford Library) where there is an Enterprise For London adviser there all day. But best to book in first so you don’t need to wait.
This is an excellent service for Redbridge start-ups funded by Government money. The word needs to go out because at the moment this service is being under-used. It’s also open to Barking and Dagenham, Waltham Forest, Newham and Havering locally.
Tom Bircham wrote a guest blog last week about the importance of using High Streets and helping the local economy.
