Good news. Sophia Hubs has funding to help Redbridge charities develop entrepreneurial skills and diversify income sources

We are delighted that an Awards For All funding bid has been successful.  This is for us to coordinate a project being run with Redbridge CVS to help Redbridge charities and voluntary groups cropped-sh-logo-final-2014-e1397227444529.jpgdevelop entrepreneurial skills and diversify their income streams.  This is to enable Redbridge charities (that are also businesses of course) to be more resilient in a difficult economic Redbridge CVS join usclimate.

We will be using two London social enterprises to develop the training and the coaching that will be offered: Urban Catalysts and Aspiren.

We hope to have an impact on 400 voluntary and charity groups in the borough by providing access to excellent new resources geared to voluntary sector business skills and to work more intensively with 10-40 groups.

Ultimately we are hoping that the learning and outcomes/successes of this project will have a permanent impact on how Redbridge charities and voluntary/faith groups run their business.

More news will follow but if you are interested, please email me on ros.southern@sophiahubs.com ….
