Our enterprise club for start-ups has a bit of a new look and new feel for the Autumn season!
What we’re keeping:
- Key point of contact for start-up businesses with mentors and support on hand.
- Weekly input and support from a local business speaker
- A friendly, supportive and growing network of start-ups, businesses and community members
What we’re adding:
- Evening meetings
- Other venues
- Membership ( in October)
- Experimenting with introducing new features!
We will run the enterprise club alternatively on Tuesday lunchtimes at St Johns Church and an evening meeting in different venue. We will keep you informed and updated on this blog, the weekly email and text reminders (let us know if you want to be added). The St John’s lounge will be open every Tuesday so when the club is not on you are welcome to come and use it as a co-working space, use our wifi, make yourself a drink.
We’re kicking off on Tuesday 1st September with a lunchtime club at 12.30 for 12.45 start at St Johns:
Sophia Hubs Director Clive Sheldon will talk about his journey on his recently launched new social impact investment start-up Argentis Capital. He’s calling the session ‘GOING FOR GOLD!’. Clive brings strong City and international business connections with a his passion for community renewal and development.
The week after its Wednesday 9th September it’s an evening club at 7pm with Kalpna Patel in the Goodmayes Community Centre.
