Who is it suitable for?
It is suitable for those who are brand new to yoga as well as those who may have some yoga experience. For those who have never tried yoga before, yoga is a gentle form of mind/body exercise with a whole range of benefits for our physical and emotional health – calmness, flexibility, self acceptance and relaxation. You don’t need to be super bendy or athletic to do yoga – yoga is for everyone!
What’s it all about?
As our retreat happens to be the same week as Valentines Day we have themed it “Love Yourself, Love Your Body”. We want you to leave 4 hours later feeling really amazing for having taken a bit of time out of your routine to concentrate on looking after that most important person – you!!!
Who are the teachers?
Your four teachers are Timebank members, Sam, Maria, Begona and Surjit. We are all trained in slightly different styles of yoga, which means that we have lots to share with you. For those who know a bit about yoga, our backgrounds are in hatha, kriaplu and kundalini yoga. If this sounds like gobbledy-gook to you don’t worry! Everything will be clearly explained and all classes will be perfect for beginners.
