Claudia Castillo is leading a participatory and informative session at our lunchtime enterprise club on Tuesday 13th January. Arrivals from 12.30 for a 12.45 prompt start and networking until 2.30.
Here’s an intro from Claudia of the East London Small Business Centre:
Starting a business can be a very daunting task if you don’t know the “ins and outs.” Even if you run a business it can be very challenging and sometimes isolating.
The East London Small Business Centre offers support to start ups and existing businesses that want to grow. I would like to talk about the importance of market research and tips on how to do it, plus the importance of SWOTs (thinking through your start-ups’ strengths, weakness, opportunities and strengths) and working on your USP.
The good news is that there are lots of resources out there and I will share these with you e.g. British Library, City Business Libraries and the many ways ELSBC can support start-ups and businesses that want to grow.
We’re here for people with a basic business idea or no idea at all, just an interest in exploring, we offer an introductory workshop and training courses.
I am looking forward to coming to the enterprise club and hope to get you to do a bit of work to help take your start-up forward!
