The month long pop up business pilot has now ended. Thanks to Jane Leighton of Vision and Liz Gardner of Work Redbridge for being the driving force behind it.
Geoff Hill, Chair of Chamber of Commerce hosted the closing event. Over 100 businesses and start-ups came in over the month to receive support and training. Jane Leighton and Liz Gardner were able to give a brief summary of the month and we will await their fuller report which I will pass on. We were also able to hear about the Business Timebank from Sarah Henderson from ECHO.
The closing event was a good networking opportunity and a chance to hear about other opportunities for small businesses, start-ups and pre-startups – below.
We relocated our Tuesday enterprise clubs in the venue and were praised by Jane Leighton for the energy and vibrancy of our programme– right brain business plans, networking, procrastination and invention, skills swaps, conflict resolution for your business, and we led on the pilot pop up Saturday
