Training, networking, and an invention at the pop up business hub

jane talking with awele in backgroundIt was a full programme today at the Enterprise Exchange with 20 people joining workshops/training and another 30+ popping in.  All our Tuesday lunchtime enterprise clubs are being held at this exciting temporary venue in October.

Claudia Castillo from East London Small Business Centre ran the first morning session followed by Nicola Millington of Awele in small groupFPComms.

After this our lunch time enterprise club speaker was Awele Odeh of the Work Stress Buster company.  She ran the ‘Beat procrastination’ workshop – a participatory and engaging session that helped to look and tackle the underlying causes of putting things off.  Awele runs a suite of personal development sessions aimed at small businesses and was happy to test this new topic out on an audience, with very positive feedback.

Later there were  individual surgeries from experts on all things IT and anything to do with premises and rates.
