Enterprise Exchange OPENING PARTY Weds 1st Oct and a month of business support

You are invited to attend the Launch of Enterprise Exchange, a pop-up business hub at Unit 88 Level 3 Exchange Ilford Shopping Centre on Wednesday 1st October between 5.30 – 8pm.

Councillor Wes Streeting, Deputy and Cabinet Member for Health and Wellbeing will officially launch the Hub at 6.00pm followed by a welcome from Geoff Hill, Chair Redbridge Chamber of Commerce and performance by Jyotsna Srikanth, artistic director of Dhruv Arts and Europe’s leading violinist from the south Indian Carnatic classical tradition.

The London Borough of Redbridge is working in partnership with Vision, the Trust delivering Culture and Leisure services in the borough, to help local small businesses and start-ups through a programme of business support including free advice sessions, networking opportunities, workshops/training and access to facilities and resources.

Enterprise Exchange is a creative action research project which will test and develop a model for business support in Redbridge working with existing initiatives such as Work Redbridge for Business and local partners including Redbridge Chamber of Commerce, Seven Kings and Newbury Park Sophia Hub, Redbridge Institute and Redbridge College; responding to the needs of start-ups and small businesses in the area.

Alongside the Business Hub, a socially engaged commission Good Company by Lucy Harrison will programme a series of interventions as part of a wider public art initiative Ilford this Way that will provide meaningful opportunities for both residents and business communities to think about the future of Ilford together.
